This years event will be a 3 on 3 for all 7th graders and 4th Grade Boys, a Shooting Contest for all ages and a Skills Competition. For the 7th Grade 3 vs 3 players will signup as a team of 3 or 4 OR as an individual and be placed on a team.
Participants in the Shooting Contest will get sponsored for each basket they make (out of 20) to raise money for brain cancer research. Download the Shooting Contest form here or click on the Shooting Contest Tab. Winners of the contest will receive highly desirable prizes and/or Trophies!
Baskets for Bama is an annual fundraiser created by Brad Levin and his brothers, David and Gregory in honor of their grandmother Iris “Bama” Levine. The event raises money towards finding a cure for Brain Cancer.All donations raised go to Duke University’s Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center. Baskets for Bama is a team within Angels Among Us, the fundraising arm for the research foundation.
On this website, you can learn more about Duke’s initiative, and how they are coming closer to finding a cure for brain cancer. You will be able to join the quest for finding a cure for brain cancer by donating and/or participating in Baskets for Bama which just completed its 5th year. Collectively over the past 5 years, we have raised $198,497.00.
